We went out of town, and en route back to Kuala Terengganu, we stopped by a sate / satay place at Jabi called Sate Lanang. The chicken satay is pretty decent. The beef was a bit tough, I’d recommend sticking to chicken if you have problems chewing.

I tried this drink called Air Nira kelapa, which is juice extracted from coconut flower (?). You can check out the process here. It looks like coconut juice, tastes like coconut juice but just with a kind of odd flavoring, that I’ve never tasted before. If flower fragrance can be a taste, that is how it tasted to me, but the description varies for each person.

I like it, but I’ll recommend it under an acquired taste (like how I’m the only person I know who enjoys Mr Bean’s Viet coffee).
